In 2021, we had the pleasure of partnering with the innovative young designers, The Steal Boyz. These two brothers have gained acclaim for their meticulous dyeing techniques, honed over the years. After the tremendous success of our initial collaboration, it was clear we needed a sequel. Thus, we present the "JG X Steal Boyz Vol 2" release, scheduled for Friday, September 8th at 12pm Eastern on Johngeigerco.com. Each pair is priced at $250 and includes an extra set of matching dyed laces, plus a complementary pair of dyed John Geiger socks.
We're excited to unveil the "Pastel Pack", featuring six serene pastel shades: Purple, Pink, Mint, Blue, Orange, and Lime. It's essential to understand that each pair is hand-dyed and uniquely customized, ensuring every pair stands as a distinct work of art.
The Process: The signature washed appearance of each pair comes from a detailed process. The Steal Boyz begin by removing the laces, insoles, and hardware. Then, each shoe is delicately immersed in a dye vat. Once sufficiently colored, the shoes are air-dried and subsequently hand-distressed. To complete the look, each shoe is adorned with a cross-stitch around the collar.
