Every once in a while, I get the urge to go back to my roots and customize one of my own designs with one rule: everything is 1 of 1.
For this release, I started with the all black 004 and added yellow, blue, and white paint splatter. We’re calling this one the 004 “Paint Splatter.”
The black base really lets the colors stand out. Once the paint dries, the KPU cage holds the most visible splatter. The result is a different pattern and finish on every pair, so no two will look exactly the same.
Projects like this are also a way for me to step away from everything else going on with the brand and just create. No pressure, no expectations. Just painting and seeing where it goes.
