004 "Paint Splatter" 1 of 1 Project

I always have friends and people in my DMs asking me to make them a 1 of 1. Every once in a while, I get the urge to paint or customize one of my designs.

Before starting my own brand, I would customize clothing and footwear and always say, “everything is 1 of 1.” Even if we had the same piece of clothing or the same pair of shoes, I would change mine slightly to make it my own.

It takes me back to being a kid, playing hoops and writing phrases on my shoes or painting pairs of Air Forces. Fast forward to now, and it’s dope as hell to be able to customize my own designs and products.

The all-black canvas makes the paint splatter pop. I ran with yellow, blue, and white, so I guess we can call this the “Pitt Paint Splatter.”

For this pair, I masked off the outsole before adding the paint. Once the colors on the mesh dry, they kind of fade into the material, leaving the KPU cage with the most visible paint splatter. It creates a really dope effect and gives each pair its own look.
